About Brandon

Hi, I’m Brandon.  I graduated from the University of Lynchburg with a B. A. degree in Financial Economics and hold an IBM Certification in Data Analytics. I am currently pursuing an MBA in Finance, and am a CISA and CFA candidate.

I perform write-up work for assigned clients, and we always review each other’s work, and develop financial models in Excel.  In addition I help clients interpret shifts in their revenue, expenses, and borader economic variables. I especially enjoy financial modeling and analyzing trends in support of good decision making.  I also author the key economic indicators column in our monthly client newsletter.

About Dave

Hi, I’m Dave and I have been a CPA for over 40 years and have worked as an IT manager, hospital controller, CPA, consultant to foreign governments, and as an accounting educator.  I have a lot of experience and I love to use that experience to help small businesses thrive. Like most CPAs I have a degree in accounting, but I also earned MBA and PhD degrees in accounting and finance.  

My practice is limited to bookkeeping, payroll, small business consulting, and tax preparation and tax planning. I don’t perform audits, reviews, or other expensive services offered by many CPA firms and this means that I can offer my services to you at a substantial discount.

I was born in Colorado in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, attended college in Washington State, and now call Virginia home. My wonderful wife, Heidi, and I have three sons, all college graduates, and in the little spare time that we have, we enjoy traveling, bike riding, kayaking and hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
